Designed for an entertainment destination.

WAHA is designed for the rhythm of HHLA: movies, attractions, families, dates, office traffic, nearby residents, and evening visits. Specialty beverages are fast, social, highly repeatable purchases that complement, not compete with, the center’s entertainment and dining mix.

The Operators

Local ownership. Disciplined execution.

WAHA is being developed by a local husband-and-wife founding team who live directly across from HHLA and know the property and surrounding community firsthand. One founder is a former SpaceX engineer, bringing a systems-oriented approach to planning, process, and execution. The other is a Beverly Hills dental hygienist working in a high-touch, client-facing environment, bringing a strong understanding of hospitality, customer experience, relationship-building, and design. Together, the founders bring complementary strengths in operations, service, and brand experience. The concept is being built around standardized recipes, documented SOPs, professional sourcing and training, detailed financial underwriting, and professional store management.

“The goal is not simply to open a boba shop; it is to build a distinctive, professionally operated beverage brand that belongs at HHLA.”
